April Terrio, the Animal Control Officer for the City of Somerville, will be attending the meeting to address questions and comments. We are pleased to be able to cooperate in a small way with the Animal Control Office by promoting Rabies Vaccination and Dog Licensing Day, and we are eager to learn about other opportunities to work with April to make Somerville more dog-friendly!

Partners in Parks (June 9)

The Somerville Dog Owners Group joins Boston Dog Owners Group; Callahan Canine Owners Association; NewtonDogs; SomeDogPark, Inc.; and Traildogs, among the open space and environmental groups sponsoring Partners in Parks, a one-day statewide working conference to celebrate and restore Massachusetts' public lands.

Our parks will welcome dog owners only when dog owners become involved in the civic process of ensuring that public open space accommodates the many and diverse recreational needs of all residents. Get involved!
