It's time for the Somerville Dog Owners Group's annual fall park clean up! We've never done a park clean-up at Nunziato Field before, but, in light of recent discussions among users of the off-leash recreational area about the need for improvements to the OLRA, this year we focus our community service efforts on our favorite park!

This will be a good opportunity to talk about what kind of improvements are needed at the off-leash recreational area and to start talking about ways to raise money for the improvements.

We will sweep, rake, pick up trash, etc. in both the off-leash recreational area and in the adjacent field from 10 to noon, and then we'll break for lunch and to celebrate our hard work.

Refreshments will be provided for volunteers.

The Somerville Dog Owners Group encourages volunteers to make other arrangements for their dogs: dogs are not allowed in the field adjacent to the OLRA.
