Dog Owners Help Clean Up City
The Somerville Dog Owners Group thanks everyone who came out today to help make Somerville a great place to live with our dogs.
Jen, John, Kendra, Lora and Michelle cleaned up Perry Park in Ward Two.
Leslie and Joed went "Beyond the Call of Doody" and picked up poop around the Winter Hill Community School in Ward Four.
After the clean-up we enjoyed the community barbecue in Nunziato Field and spent time with other environment-and-open-space minded folks at the SomerGreen festival, hosted by Groundwork Somerville at the Community Growing Center.
