Picutres from our second annual park clean-up
Friends of the Community Path co-sponsored the Somerville Dog Owners Group's second annual park clean-up, Saturday, November 5, on the Community Path. In addition to picking up trash, over twenty volunteers—Community Gardeners, dog owners, Friends of the Community Path and other Somerville residents—raked leaves, cleared brush, scooped poop and picked up broken glass. A worker from the Department of Public Works collected trash and lawn bags as they were filled by volunteers.
A Somerville Community Gardener supervised the planting of new mums, which were generously donatated by Ricky's Flower Market in Union Square.
