Walk your dog to Perry Park Saturday morning, October 20, at 9:30 for the grand opening of the renovated park with refreshments donated by The Biscuit on Beacon Street, Taqueria La Mexicana in Union Square, Star Market, and coffee by the Sherman Café in Union Square.

The old asphalt basketball court has been replaced with a lawn, the old play structures have been replaced with new ones, and the old "No Dogs Allowed" signs have been replaced with new signs welcoming people with dogs and informing park users about the laws requiring dogs to be leashed and requiring dog owners to clean up after their dogs.

Also newly renovated, Stone Place Playground reopens Saturday, too, with a ceremony at 9:00.
