Help Clean Up Dilboy Field in West Somerville

Foodmaster_240x47.jpgJoin us at Dilboy Field, Saturday, April 24, from 10 am to noon and help pick up trash, sweep and rake last year's leaves; Then at noon we'll break for refreshments and conviviality!

Venus.jpgWe'll meet in the parking lot adjacent to the stadium (to the right of the stadium when looking at the stadium from Alewife Brook Parkway).

This is a Mayor's Fitness Challenge event. Participants in the Fitness Challenge can earn an extra point for their themselves and for their team by volunteering at the clean-up!

In conjunction with the Fourth Annual Park Serve Day, organized by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, the Somerville Dog Owners Group is sponsoring a park clean up on the Alewife Brook Reservation at Dilboy Field in Somerville.

The Board of Aldermen Parks and Open Space Committee is considering a site near the stadium at Dilboy Field for an off-leash recreational area. Come to the clean up to see the site that is under consideration!
