Eleven people and three dogs came out on a drizzly Sunday morning to walk along the Somerville and Medford banks of the Mystic River. From left to right Ward Two Alderman Maryann Heuston with Strummer, Ward Four Alderman Walter Pero with Harry, Joe Hegarty, Rick Willette, Carlene Campbell, Eileen Costa, George Landers, Quinn Landers with Jackson, Joan Landers, and Carol Haley earned an extra point for themselves and for their teams in the Mayor's Fitness Challenge for participating in the Mystic River Community Walk. Team Basement Buddies scored the most points with three team members on the walk. The Mayor's Team and the Board of Aldermen Team tied for second with two members each.
